The house is only a few minutes' walk (200 m) from the dunes away. You can comfortably cycle through the dunes (2,5 km) to the beach. You can also drive to Castricum aan Zee or Egmond aan Zee (5 km). There is a large supermarket in Egmond-Binnen (2 km). Haarlem is 25 and Amsterdam is 40 kilometers away. Egmond has a real family beach with a length of 8 kilometers, so you can take long walks, while the kids look for shells. The beautiful lighthouse is an attraction in itself. You are also close to the picturesque artists' village of Bergen and the delightful town of Alkmaar, where you can spend a day of shopping.
